National NGO helps at the time of Natural Calamities
Nature is not under our control. It has its own ways. Many times a man is helpless in front of natural calamities. At these times there is a lot of death and destruction. Floods, earthquakes, and storms can uproot civilizations and create large-scale destruction.
It is in these times that we, as human beings should join hands and come forward and help the needy socially, physically, emotionally and financially.
National NGO has always taken initiative and has been forthright in responding to natural disasters.
This was seen when in December 2014, large areas of Jammu and Kashmir were hit by devastating floods. Nature unleashed its fury and man was helpless in front of it. At that time a large group of volunteers initiated a drive to collect medicines and provide other relief like food and water and then distributed it to the victims of the calamity.
Another Initiative-Helping disabled beggars
In another initiative of National NGO, in December 2014, it reached out to around 400 disabled beggars in and around R.K. Puram in Delhi and distributed food items to them
We as human beings should feel for others and do whatever best we can do to help the needy and that’s exactly what the National NGO team did.
Nepal Earthquake
Nepal was shaken with the high scale destruction caused by the earthquake. Buildings, homes, temples all collapsed killing many and injuring thousands. The death toll of the earthquake was around 6,600. And most regions were cut off from help.
At this time of grave crisis, National NGO came forwards on the behest of the Nepal Embassy and helped rehabilitate the earthquake victims.
Also, the managing Trustee of National NGO accompanied the volunteer team and distributed relief materials which included blankets, food products, and tents to National Emergency Operation Centre in Kathmandu which was distributed among the earthquake victim families
For this initiative, Shivani Basnet, Second Secretary of Embassy of Nepal, signed an acknowledgment for National NGO for its support during the earthquake crisis.
National NGO is a non-government social organization which was established in 2012, with the sole purpose of enabling the underprivileged and eternalizing ‘inclusiveness’. We have varied programs for enabling disabled children and getting them back into the mainstream. We also provide shelters for the disabled children at our center at Tughlakabad.
We act as catalyst agents between the donors and the downtrodden, and efficiently and effectively using the funding received, we ensure that the disabled, marginalized and downtrodden are well looked after and given the basic human rights of education and proper nutrition.
Our primary focus areas are Healthcare, Nutrition, Education, and Empowerment. We leave no stone unturned in providing these basic human rights to as many children as possible to make their future as bright as possible. Check out National NGO reviews.
