Role of National NGO during Natural Disaster
Massive losses
of life and property is caused during the natural disasters like floods,
droughts, cyclones, tsunami. National NGO has always been a helping hand during
such calamities.Providing basic amenities to the people affected is the main
aim during such times. Donors and contributors are always welcome who can help
the cause by donating through cash or cheque on the favour of National
Organization for Social Empowerment.

helped various
Kerala Flooding
The disaster
caused by non-stop rainfall and heavy flooding left many people stranded. National NGO came up with Relief Fund
to contribute for the needy people affected due to the disaster caused by
floods. Basic amenities such as Clothes, bedsheets, blankets, Soap, detergent,
Sanitary pads, shoes, and many more useful items were donated in the affected
areas. Medical aids were insured to the affected people.
Nepal Earthquake
Relief Camp
The Earthquake
crisis at Nepal had left various parts of the city abandoned with buildings
leaning dangerously in complete rubble. On behalf of Nepal Embassy, National NGOhas helped the Nepal
Earthquake victims. Along with the volunteer team, National NGO distributed
various relief materials such as food products, blankets and tents in Kathmandu
to National Emergency Operation Centre.

Beggars who are differently-abled
Nearly 400
disabled beggars near R. K. Puram area were helped by National NGO team in December 2014. Raw food was distributed to the
needy people in the area.
Jammu &
Kashmir Flood Relief Campaign
National NGOhelped in
driving the reliefcampaign by collecting and providing relief material to the
flood affected areas in Jammu & Kashmir in December 2014. Various medicinal
and relief material were donated to the victims of the calamity.
National NGO has always
come forwardfor the disaster relief during emergencies in India. It provides
faster response to situations whenever required.
