NATIONALNGO AND ITS ROLE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The Coronavirus pandemic is affecting tens of thousands of people in profound ways, including loss of work and a lack of food supplies. The outbreak has had a significant impact on the most vulnerable populations, including the elderly and children. The National Organisation for Social Empowerment also known as NationalNGO is a Non-profit organisation that has come forward to help poor and needy people in every possible way. The NGO is established by Mr. Amandeep Singh and Mr. Sparsh Maheshwari, who have devoted their lives to the noble cause of helping the poor and downtrodden people.

At the time of this outbreak, the organization is helping underprivileged people day and night to ensure food, aid, and medical supplies are delivered to those who need it. Also, they are putting water tanks and washbasins near slum areas and educating people about Coronavirus. Apart from this, the National NGO is also providing accommodation facilities in their SEWA BHAWAN to the poor and vulnerable people who are stuck in Delhi and don’t have any place to live in these hard times.

Till now, NationalNGO has helped around 10,000+ families by distributing ration packages to them. Apart from that, the NGO has also fulfilled their basic requirements like distributing food, medicines (fever, stomach-ache, headache, etc.) to about 82,000+ people where needed, milk packets to the kids, etc. Apart from that, the NationalNGO is also working for the Migrant Labourers. We distributed Dry Snack Packets to the migrant labourers who were travelling back to their homes. The Dry Snack Packets included nuts, biscuits, drinking water, etc., so that they can eat such snacks during the journey.

NationalNGO is a social development organisation that has a vision, to empower needy, underprivileged and Persons with Special Abilities in India.

The NGO work for the below listed areas:

1. Education - Providing basic education, both formal and non-formal, to underprivileged children.

2. Food & Nutrition – Provide food free of cost to 500-600 underprivileged every day.

4. Disaster relief/livelihood supports etc.

5. Women Empowerment

6. Empowerment of Persons with Special Abilities

The NationalNGO has multiple channels to serve for a cause, where the NGO sees improvement in needed, it could be anything like working for a cause in education, food security, health, and welfare and so on.

However, the impact made by NationalNGO totally depends on stabilisation of the organization, our area of expertise, volunteer base, funds availability, long term sustainability etc. Basically, we at NationalNGO provide a role of supporters for the betterment and enhancement of social life or at times we also help spreading awareness of human rights and many more. The sole purpose of NationalNGO is to empower every person to drive a new era of development, growth and productivity to achieve more. Also supporting the overall development of the underprivileged. The NGO works hand in hand with its volunteers.

NationalNGO wants to be an equal opportunity provider for the upliftment of the underprivileged children & people, persons with special ability and women & girls by providing them timely education, shelter, food, medical support, care and confidence. The NGO aims at empowering the Underprivileged, persons with special ability and women by assisting them to lead a dignified, respectful & healthy life.
