Feed Poor To Defeat Hunger in India

India is a prominent global voice that has made notable progress on human development over the past 60 years, but the advantages of a growing economy are not shared equally: the country is still home to one-third of the world’s poor. There are several factors that contribute to the state of hunger in various rural regions of India. The reasons carry complexities, but they are somehow associated.

On the other hand, the coronavirus pandemic has severely challenged more than our health. Food security and the livelihoods of millions of people have been compromised, and many more millions are likely to be hungry because of the pandemic’s impact on economies.

The team of National Organisation for Social Empowerment (National NGO) has been working tirelessly to lift people out of poverty, giving them the training and tools they need to make sustainable changes that will benefit their families and communities for generations to come.

Since 2012, we have been serving underprivileged people by providing them with nutritious cooked meals with your timely donations to charity. We’ve been fighting hunger in this way for more than 8 years. We also regularly distribute rice, milk and other uncooked staple foods to underprivileged communities who do not receive aid from any other organization. Along with food distribution, our organization often provides free, specialized medical services to the needy people. Many people have lost their jobs, and those with low incomes complain about food insecurity due to the pandemic. Together, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been able to feed 22, 50,000+ meals, 15, 000+ Dry snacks packets provided to migrant labourers, 9,700+ families provided with Ration kits across India.

We are passionate in our dedication to the cause of feeding poor and needy people across India. We feed the hungry by providing meals and food packs in order to help relieve the immediate hunger crisis in the world and the ultimate objective of NationalNGO is to prepare hygienic and nutritious food in our base kitchen and distribute it, not only to 500-600 people as we do through our base kitchen and the targeted beneficiaries of this system will mainly be patients, toddlers, and older people, who are incapable of preparing food for themselves.

To protect the underprivileged people of our community from COVID-19 outbreak, we are constantly working on the grassroots level and providing them with cooked meals & ration packages.
